Weekly Flight Briefing 2 (COVID-19…And Random Virtue Signaling)

EDTalksWeeklyFlightBrief - Ed Rush | Business Growth Acceleration Mentor, Speaker, Author - 5x #1 Bestselling Author, Speaker, Mentor, Advisor

I know life is crazy right now.
Bottom line: we’re all about to spend a LOT more time at home.

But what I am about to say is extremely important: in the middle of MASSIVE turmoil there is an even more MASSIVE opportunity in the new “expert economy” that is emerging. As a teacher/thought leader, you absolutely can’t miss this biggest shift in your lifetime.

So…over the next few weeks, I will show you HOW to capitalize on the biggest economic shift of our lifetimes.

Follow my lead and when this is all over, you’re going to be in a GREAT spot with a big smile on your face.

With that in mind, my next installment of “The Bunker Bash” is streaming tomorrow at 10am PST / 1pm EST right here on this channel.

So…are you ready for your weekly installment of Insanely Implementable Ideas? Welcome to Week #2 of the Flight Briefing.

What I Am Focusing On Right Now

Content!
As in “creating content” not as in “being content.”
I’ll work on that next.
Or never.

I committed myself to a minimum of 30-minutes of content creation for 21-Days (<== There is that 21-Day thing again).

Listen, COVID-19 is changing everything. The businesses that survive (and thrive) during this time will be the ones who have MASTERED the online game. My personal goal is to add 100,000 new followers in the next 2 months.

Why not take that journey with me?
For example, today I started 2 straight months of Live Streaming.
So do this, go Subscribe on YouTube.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll show you how to capitalize on the huge opportunity that’s happening online.

Duolingo.
Since I have some more time on my hands, I’m committing myself to get better. And that includes language training. Not only is Duolingo super easy to use, you can literally learn basically every language on the planet—including some dead ones like Gaelic, Yiddish, and Latin.* I used to be fluent in Spanish pero se me olvido todo (I forgot everything). So I am boning up each day on my Broken Spanish. I’ve also tried a few other languages including Japanese—which is insanely difficult BTW.**

Challenge of the Week

Grab the free version of Duolingo and try just 7 days on the language of your choice. The side benefit of language learning is mind expansion. You literally learn to think a different way.

For example, in Spanish, the adjective comes after the noun. “Nice jacket” in Spanish is “Jacket nice.”

Now, it may seem trivial, but when you learn to speak like someone else, you also learn to understand someone else. And between us, the world could use a LOT more understanding.

So, what do you think—will you take me up on this week’s challenge?

Ed

* Is it “dead language” or “endangered language?” In today’s world, one has to be super PC and exhibit max virtue signals whenever possible.
So my sincere apologies to any languages I may have offended.
Except for you, Latin.

** It took me about ten minutes to learn the number ONE in Japanese.
10 minutes!
Ugh…I have to be the dumbest Japanese learner in history…which is equally disturbing since I spent almost 2 years there.

Also, Yoi ichinichi o ==> 良い一日を。
